Only a idiot would not belive that the US Economic status
has grown. Most of the info I will show here was found on many
sites. so you must goole for them.

Longest Economic Expansion in U.S. History.
In February 2000, the United States entered the 107th consecutive month of
economic expansion the longest economic expansion in history.
google up:
"National Bureau of Economic Research and Council of Economic Advisors"
for the source.

Paying Off the National Debt.
In 1998 and 1999, the debt held by the public was reduced by $140 billion,
the largest pay-down in American history.
With the President's plan, we are now on track to eliminate the nation's
publicly held debt by 2012.
google for:
"White House, National Economic Council OR:
Treasury Department, Office of Economic Policy,
From Widening Deficits to Paying Down the Debt:
Benefits for the American People"

More Than 22 Million New Jobs.
22.2 million new jobs have been created since 1993,
the most jobs ever created is 30 years.
91 percent (19.9 million) of the new jobs have been created in the private
sector, the highest percentage in 50 years.
In the 90's alone.
2000 to 2007 has still shown more growth.

google for:
"National Economic Council"

And now I make these statements based on what I myself
know to be facts becouse I live here, and I am into the
economy, becouse of what I do for a livin.

THe US has the largest economy at almost $13 trillion/year.
The US also has the largest or second largest GDP per capita- about $40,000 per person.
THe US also has the single largest & most efficient capital market.
Home ownership rate is also one of the highest in the world.
US is the largest exporter of education & spends the greatest dollar
amount on R&D.

Despite our temporary reliance on oil.

Sad but true. US should keep more of it at home

LittleFella,
For the last 60 years, outsiders have been printing such things as you
just posted to me. and none of those has ever come true ever.

Nore in all my time traveling around the world doing bussienss with
others (from a great many countrys) have I ever seen them not wanting
to cash in on investments in our system.

It is also very note worthy to notice that the US economy like all
others economy's, through the years, has and always will swing
+ and - But the US economy has never collapsed sence the
Great Depression which started in October of 1929 and lasted
through most of the 1930s.

It was centered in North America and Europe, but had devastating effects
around the world.

And if it ever did happen again as most anti-Americans have been wishing
for, they would not like the effects one bit.

Also I would like to point out, that if a Depression hit for some reason
unfore seen, americans and europeans alike would have HUGE problems
with the terror issue's in deed.

I would not think that a wish like that in these days is a wise one for
any country.
