Rob, the Chinese ecomony is a developing nation. The US is considered "developed".

And, China cound bancrupt the US? LOL. China's ecomomy largely depends on the US.

Great Point about Rowanda, more than 2 soldiers died.
But we tried , we went iin, we evacuated everybody's embassies, we gave humanitarian aid, we did what we could, with the manpower we had available.

Eveybody saw it on the world news.
BBC reported about it constanly.
The whole world saw what was going on.
Everybody knew we were out manned and out gunned.

Did anybody even offer to help?
No. Everyone let us go in alone. Once again.
When we assisted in the evecuation of the foriegn embassies, and all those dignitaries, said "Thank you" and never looked back.

And now everyone talks about what a horrible tragedy: "why didn't "someone" do something."

The whole world watched. I for one am glad we got the hell out of there.

Once again, everyone in the UN said "something should be done", but no body was willing to take any action.

America, alone again.

Thing is, many people in the world believe that this was the case, there was nothing in Rwanda that can be looted, It was in Rwanda that the USA lost it's credibility as a peace keeper and when they moved into Iraq looking back at Rwanda and comparing the efforts made, the world can rightfully conclude that the USA only 'keeps the peace' when they can loot resources.

There's nothing noble with the USA's motivation for 'policing the world', it's all about boosting their economy and looting other nations.

Ferre , Rwanda was supposed to be a humanitarian mission. The UN had "peace keepers" there with strict instructions not to engage.
The US was not stupid enough to go in wearing a blue sash, carrying rubber bullets.
When the shit hit the fan the UN "peace keepers" retreated and we were left high and dry trying to deliver food, that the drug lords were hijacking and stealing from the people.
We were there to help the people , and we got shot at! It wasn't an invasion. We only had one battalion there.
When the UN ran, we basically said"not again" and got our people out.

But not to worry, we evacuated your embassy , and got your people out so you could get back the the Hash dens and bad mouth us.

It was and is a horrible situation and the whole world shares the burden of having turned their backs on fellow human beings.

For someone from a country that won't even send a group of Girl Scouts to a pillow fight, you sure have a high opinion of yourself.

China's government is much more respectful of human rights than Saddam was. Sure, there are some injustices, but Saddam was a murderous tyrant that can't be compared to China.

This is a common sense! even school going kid today would be able to tell why US went there...leave everything else if its WoT then why not first get OBL and his folks and then others...what was the urgency that led US to forget about 9/11, its killers and help save other deomocracy. It has been officially proved by the same Govt that there were no WMD, there was no link between Saddam and OBL...then why Iraque...poor citizens there are in worst situations than in saddam rule

Some time back there was a report on CNN stating number of pople killed in last 3 years in Iraque is far greater than killed in Saddam's rule...then doest same humaterian law applies to US president?

Did any one from Iraque asked help ? Do you know Dalai Lama from Tibet he has been begging to help his tibetians for decades but US had not bothered as they need China for its trade so

If I look back to history it looks US is trying to do somewhat same what Alexander the great, Germans tried...win the world by war...sometime back there was a good respect for US around the world for its policies and support for freedom...today becuase of some guys in power US has started loosing its credibility...nation that earned so much respect and goodwill around the world is loosing it so fast...I feel sad
