Well, hysterical or not, it's the truth. I find Oberman often to be pissed off, but at the other hand I can't understand why the whole American nation isn't just as pissed off as he is, knowing how the present administration is deceiving the pubilc like crazy and how they have been exposed time and time again.

I like the Colbert Report even more
That dude - I'd like to put him in my pocket and keep him there to entertain me each day.

I'm guessing guys like him are why MSNBC can't manage to pull more than about 350K in viewership?
I think Andy Griffith reruns pull about that.

Actually they're considered to be the fastest growing news channel by Nielsen Media Research.
Fox is clearly in the lead, there is no denying that. However, it is sad when a channel like that has such high viewership.

You know - in the real world - when something scandalous (or not) is reported it starts a debate about the particular merits of that scandal (or not). If necessary an investigation takes place, and due legal process. Nowhere else would I expect a report like this to start a debate about the particular "reporting source".
"Did or did not the president knowingly lie to congress" is reduced simply to becoming a "NBC/ FOX/ CNN is rubbish" slanging match.
This demonstrates exactly why News needs to be honest, balanced and above all respectable and of the highest integrity.
These days, it seems, no one knows who or what to trust, and once again the man in the middle gets of scott free, as who the hell knows the real truth anyway...

One man's "lie" is another man's "perspective".
People who throw the word "liar" around are intentionally fanning the flames of discontent without bringing anything useful to the discussion.
And has been pointed out repeatedly in these threads, the majority of us are, in fact, quite pissed off about the way the U.S. Administration is "communicating" with us, and we simply do not believe anything they say, any more. A recent poll suggests that fewer than 30% of Americans trust what comes out of GWB's mouth. It seems, however, that in other parts of the world, his messages are actually taken seriously, so maybe it's time the rest of you started following our lead and stopped taking his word for anything.
Don't you recognize "spin" when you hear/read it? Olbermann does, and he uses it to inflate his ratings by intentionally perpetuating the idea that GWB is to be taken seriously. Not buying it, Keith. Colbert is more honest in his treatment of the news.
