Oh, I forgot to mention, I don't smoke the stuff....In fact, I'm an alcoholic.....And my name is Jumpen....
But like I said before, the type of person you are, is the type of person you are no matter what your substance is. My kids like me to get drunk cause I act silly. I can't say the same for most dad's......I actually get "nicer" when I've been drinking....Unless I don't like you But I like everyone.

In my country smoking is very illegal. The police hunt the users though they have no too much talent for that I don't think that would cause any problem if you use it to a certain extent and you are smart enough.
Personally i won't mind if it will be legalized.

Weed is absolutely natural and harmless if used as sedative, at least that's how it affects me. I don't like alcohol it makes people agressive, while with weed they are peaceful. And there's no smell.

I've known a lot of dope smokers in my life, a lot.....And I've known quite a few that beat their wives, and a few that beat their husbands. Dope doesn't change who you are, if who you are is an abuser. Neither does alcohol.
Are you trying to get me pissed...Just kidding!!!
It's a great alternative fuel source, it's renewable, and it's cheap. And that's the exact same kind of alcohol that you drink, only without the water. Although, here in the US, it's required that alcohol used as a fuel be denatured(adding fossil fuels).
With all of that being said......I think it should be legalized, I don't understand why it's not. It's far less dangerous than nicotine, alcohol, caffein, and smog.....

I have never in my life met a pot head that is NOT mellow and is an agressive wife or husband beater. Don't get me wrong here yes people are how they are regardless of whatever drug is consumed but if the individual is simply a pot head and doesnt do other harder drugs ie. cocaine etc and doesnt drink VERY VERY RARELY will they be an agressive wife/husband beeting individual
again thats just my 2 cents

I think that the biggest current risk of marijuana use is that it is not processed and could cause micotic infections of the upper respiratory track.. The second are the possible memory loss and other long term not-well-documented effects.
|
Use a vaporizer and you have no microscopic lesions from smoke inhalation. Since those effects are not well documented they shouldnt be brought up in scientific discussions about marijuana. I might as well say weed makes you smarter because they actually did do a study where people who were high had higher test results, obviously this probably isnt true since you cant repeat it in a lab.

Most of the things that are dangerous to us are natural....Tornado's are natural, cyanide is a natural substance, mercury is natural. Dope being a natural product doesn't make for a very good argument. Especially considering that 99% of the people who use it chemically alter it once they put that flame to it. But I still think it should be legal, just for better reasons than the fact that it's natural.

Where I am, pot has a political element that makes it volatile. People always wonder why alcohol remains legal while pot gets cracked down. The answer: the 1960s. Pot often gets associated with anti-government or "radical" groups. I don't know if some people believe that smoking the stuff plants anti-status quo thoughts in people's heads, but I can't think of another reason.
That said, I have never smoked pot, nor do I ever plan to. Just a personal choice, I'm not on a crusade. I'm actually pretty indifferent to it.

I think it should be illegal in public places (like regular smoking) but legal for private use in the home/non-public places. Just to finally shut people up who think their lives revolve around a plant and constantly moan about it.

No one said their life revolves around this plant and I certainly dont think anyone moans about it.
The pros/benifits to legalizing it far out weight the cons.

I know people who revolve their lives around it, wearing teeshirts and necklaces with pictures of it, spending every night rolling, and constantly moaning. Proper addiction, physical or psychological.

Everything illegal is wanted more.
So, for me, I think there must be some information about it and to let people know that this is wrong for their health, starting with kids and teenagers at school, having the knowledge about things is better that baning it, baning for me, make things worse and will make people want it more.
Well, I never smoke in my life, not even tried a cigarette because my parents did well when they said, "if you want to try it, I will light it for you, just try it in front of us not secretly."
This is my own opinion.
