Yes, I agree that marijuana can cause psychosis.

Two professors at London's Institute of Psychiatry have conducted research on how heavy consumption of cannabis may affect brain functions, and have produced brain scans that aim to prove how the drug can cause psychosis and schizophrenia in a small percentage of the population that smoke marijuana regularly.

They have been conducting research for the past 30 years "aimed' at proving that Cannabis is the cause of mental problems, all they found was more and more proven medicinal benefits of using this herb, they even found evidence that it has more potential to cure mental illnesses than that it has to cause them, as it is proven that it has more potential to cure cancer than it has to cause it.
Oh, and the culture I live in has proven that re-legalizing Cannabis does not cause any social problems whatsoever, on contrary, it has proven to reduce social problems and crime for the past decades.
The only cannabis induced mental illness is the one that makes politicians carry out the insane witch hunt on this plant and its users. In my view this over-reacting and fear mongering they display in general borders to insanity.

Alcohol is a mood-altering drug that also destroys your body. Yet it will never be illegal.
I smoked marijuana in the long distant past and I'm much more addicted to caffeine and McDonald's fries -- both of which are more problematic for my health than the pot but are perfectly legal.

MJ doesn't cause psychosis or anything like that.
In fact the only reason why it's illegal is because it's related to hemp. Those who ruin big oil know that HEMP is one of the only plants on earth that could take away from oil.
Hemp has 25,000 uses. It can run diesel engines and replace plastics 2 big uses for oil. If you recall "Reefer Madness" came out around the transition from Coal to oil. It was done to make reefer labeled as dangerous and outlawed; along with it's cousin HEMP.
MJ is a double edge sword though. Gives you great insight but robbs your ambition to do anything. So if there is a psychosis it's a self induced one that primarily affects ambitious poeple who smoke too much. They go crazy from awesome ideas but bgeing too lazy go brush their teeth at night let alone action them.

And don't forget the cotton and lumber industries as well. There is a giant pot of lobby money being spent every day in Washington just to make sure hemp and pot stay illegal!
Don't buy their propaganda!

I don't! Infact if I wasen't so comfortable I'd be applying in the bio fuel industry. I have to get on it one day as I think it's my calling. Not to mention you'll become exceedingly wealthy while helping the planet. Wow Win Win eh?

If you don't like the way I act then that's your problem but most people enjoy what I have to say.
You have no idea what goes on in my life and what adds to my stress. If it's so painful for you to read "day 9" then I think you have more important things to worry about than my drug habits.

You started it. I have no beef with you but if people don't like me then that's their problem. I take back what I said as it was a little harsh. However if you have a problem with me then pm me about it and don't make it public.
And the reason I am banned from other forums is because the world is a very low tolerance place. Believe it or not my support of gay people is the most common reason I get banned. Most people on DP live in India. Connect the dots.
