Before we decide on who to invade, lets look at the economics, which country has oil reserves, a good farm production, nice citizens and of course good beer.
Do you Brits want to be invaded?? The only conversion, you will have to do is watch Oprah and Baywatch everyday and post to a forum like V7N until your fingers are tired.
Who's in??
Cheers, one thing, there are two towns in Scotland I will need to control once the invasion is complete.
Town of "Keith" and
Town area called " East/West Cash or Casche"
Now Who in???

It's a hard place to take over
The UK is a strange country to say the least. You could probably fit the entire uk in just one of your states and yet the size of the British empire was phenomenal.
How in hells name a country the size of ours managed to gain such a huge empire baffles most people, never mind the Brits.

Dude, Germany could have not taken Britain (though it came close)
They relied on blitzkrieg tactics but the problem was you can't apply that strategy over water as the UK's navy was more formidable than theirs and they were scared of sending in the ships
Not trying to give the US a hard time here though as the Brits will never forget the help they got for the d-day landings.

I love history, you are telling me without our Navy, Army and Airforce you would have defeated Germany and Japan without us.

No, I am saying that Germany would not have taken England as it would have crippled them for attacking other countries.
With each country you take over, you have to leave an armed force there to keep control but after their airstrike attacks on the UK, we had seriously dinted their luftwaffe capacity and they could not attack us by boat.
We would have wiped out their seacrafts which would have left them pretty useless to do much else other than to just stay in France, Poland, Italy etc.

The Kriegsmarine was reluctant to launch an invasion, and on 11 July, Admiral Raeder told Hitler invasion could only be contemplated as a last resort, and only then with full air superiority. The Kriegsmarine had a limited number of ships, while the Royal Navy had over 50 destroyers and dozens of cruisers and battleships in home waters. In the event of a seaborne invasion, the British Home Fleet would sortie from their nearby bases and attack the invasion force, something the Kriegsmarine could do little to counter. The only way Germany would be able to prevent Royal Navy interference would be through the Luftwaffe, primarily with their dive bombers, but employing these effectively would require complete air superiority because the bombers were so vulnerable to attack. Nevertheless, Hitler was determined the invasion go ahead and ordered all services to make preparations for an amphibious assault once air superiority had been achieved.

As I said earlier, without the US help, d-day landings would have been a disaster.

Since the US government is so awful, I could never pass judgement on Britain's. So, I just set that all aside and think of the country in terms of its lovely people, culture and scenery. I have always been enchanted by Britain. The British Isles have such rich history, beautiful lands and architecture. I will definitely travel there one day. I've never met a Brit that I didn't like. Infact, one of my favorite people on the planet hails from the UK.
Plus, nothing beats a British accent!
