Honestly? I don't think I could.

I only say that because I'm up in the air sometimes about what exactly I believe. I'm Christian, but I don't like the structures of organized sects of it. I also see alot of merit in Bhuddism and pagan traditions as well.

Maybe I'd just find someone as whacked out as me. That would make for a happy stable marriage!

in principle? YES!! of course i would... but...
I had a long lasting relationship with one. Almost did get married.
Too bad at that stage religion seriously got in the way... couldn't agree on very foundamental things. The wedding itself for a starter... how to raise kids if we had any... etc... etc...
Still think i would though...

My wife of 23 years and I are technically of the same faith, but she is knee deep into the rituals and church (started 6 years ago) and I'm more comfortable simply leading a decent life and letting things take care of themselves after I'm gone. After living on Maui and spending time in some of the most beautiful places on earth I have a hard time believing that one must be in a church, synagogue, mosque, temple, or whatever to be close to God. I believe that's simply a way to get people close to the leader of that "house of God".

Any way, I hope stating what's on my mind hasn't cost me anything when my soul leaves this old sack. If I never post here on v7n again you can wager that I was struck dead for this post. Or maybe it was for last Saturday night... or the month before... or jeez... I'm toast. Where's that church again!?

I think a lot of the "yes" answers would change IF the other person were a "very"active involved person of another faith other than their own.

Politics and religion are indeed topics worth avoiding at the dinner table aren't they? As for on a Webmasters forum... they can be pretty hilarious and scary at the same time.

This warped "9-11 was an inside..." campaign is the perfect "brain food" for a lot of people who are either completely clueless, wanting more anti-Bush fuel, or wanting more anti-US fuel.

I've no problem with people watching videos or reading whatever they want, but I do wish they'd invest some time into watching unedited news clips from 9-11. As I've said before a lot of people here in my immediate area saw the plane wreckage in the Pentagon and these fools are actually taking an internet pic showing NO wreckage as a sign that maybe there WAS some foul play.... It's pathetic wishful thinking.

It's as pathetic as the black helicopters on the roof story that circulated after the Oklahoma bombing. Or the "grassy knoll" Kennedy assassination plot.

These myths take hold because people will eat the brain food that fits their desired goals or biases. For example, I despise the Clintons and I hated Janet Reno so when all of the "information" about how they murdered all of those Davidians came out I ate it up. I freely admit that I filtered out what didn't "fit" and guzzled as much of the brain food as I could find that supported my belief that these people were slaughtered as retaliation.

My point is: When someone wants to believe something they'll work very hard to find the brain food to support their desired belief. This brain food will be a concoction consisting of; facts (video, sound, print) mixed in with fiction (edited content). What it won't contain are any facts that interfere with the objective of convincing people that "something isn't right" and an "investigation is needed". Meanwhile Osama and AQ, Venezuela, Iran, and others who want to see us harmed are laughing their arses off at all of us.

My best silver bullet to slay this warped 9-11 fantasy is this:
What major news organization has attempted to make a case that Congress should launch an investigation? Does anyone here think for one minute that IF there were ANY possibility that this was ANYTHING other than what was originally that SOME news org wouldn't have been all over it with their unnamed CIA, military and first responders giving them alarming information?

I have been with my wife for nearly 20 years and anticipate remaining with her until I die. What makes you think a relationship of mixed faiths cannot last a long time?
