State of the Economy
The problems in the housing market has drastically affected the state of the economy. For example, I read yesterday and today that Countywide Mortgage Lender will be laying off a lot of people. I think the money Bank of America lent them help to stave off bankruptcy for a little bit. The stock market has not been stable either. I am kind of worried about the possibllity of a recession coming on. What is your opinion on the state of our economy? Am I just being paranoid?

Bah, it goes in cycles. As for the housing market, I think it's just stablizing, prices were getting too ridiculous to last for any length of time.

I will hopefully be selling one of my properties in latter part of January. This is when the lease will be up. I wonder what the state of the housing market will be at that time. I am hearing that some companies are offering 100% financing as incentives to buyers. Not sure though that many finance companies are on board with this idea; especially those who are still struggling.

Here in Las Vegas the market of the new houses has dropped 50% or so, prices are down and take longer to sell.

I am not selling or buying but I just keep an eye on the market. The utility bills are going up, recently the electricity took a 8-9%, I wish our income will take the same way and percentage...

LOL! Ain't that the truth Natural Elements. I wish our incomes could keep up with the percent increases we keep seeing in the economy. But, that will never happen in our day.
