Michael Vick's 'dog fighting'

Who here thinks that what Michael Vick did was ok? Do you agree with underground betting on the fights of pitbulls? I've never been involved with any betting on animal fighting but have you?

Does this excite you? Do you feel it's fun to watch and you make good money with it? Please share.

there are not many things which i find more disgusting than dog-fighting!! i have no clue who michael vick is, bit i hope he gets seriously punished!

I wrote an article about this also. According to Vick's plea agreement it's possible for him to see no jail time at all.

He was the QB of the Atlanta Falcons. He's currently suspended, but anyone want to bet he'll be in a uniform in a year, or two?

How about cock fights? Or even the matador’s fighting and killing of the bull? Are these similar to Vick’s backyard dog fighting? I've never heard too much negativity on these other sports of killing animals like I've heard on Michael Vicks involvement in dog fighting.

What do you think, are they similar or is one considered better than the other? I feel this makes for great discussion.

Why would normal people want to force animals to kill each other and bet on it?

I thought man had moved on from such things but obviously there are still some backwards, non-caring people that enjoy it.

Any animal being killed or maimed for the pleasure of others is wrong.

Anyone who would do that to a family member is total SCUM!
I hope he receives exactly what he deserves...
What he deserves is far worse than he will get however...

I wish I had final say in what criminals receive.
But then again, I'm sure I would go to hell for my deeds if I did.

I'm not really for the killing of any animals for sport or entertainment, whether that's humans killing them or humans forcing the animals to kill eachother. It's disgusting.

Vick will be sentenced in December. May be they ought to put him in an arena with some pissed off dogs!

The good that has come out of this is that this crap is more visable now, and hopefully people will turn more of these dog fighters/ cock fighters etc.

Interesting here. Dog fighting is bad, immoral and deserving of prison terms.

But we can watch a lion eat a man, and humans - in some perverse desire to be seen as "hip" and Liberal - applaud the lion.
