What can you say about RACISM in US
This cine of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES that really shock the Philippine community in US.
Teri Hatcher, told her doctor: “OK, before we go any further, can I check those diplomas? Because I would just like to make sure they are not from some med school in the Philippines.
Inventor: Doctor Fe Del Mundo is credited with studies that lead to the invention of an improved incubator and a jaundice relieving device I hope you notice this.
I cannot blame them because even there own citizen black American African who give theme much honor in Olympic receive more discrimination than other race in America today.

No, I just do not know of any accredited schools who sell diplomas. Accreditation in the US not a matter of bribing some guy with free rickshaw rides. |

Teri Hatcher said this in one episode of the "Desperate Housewives" and it is clearly a racist statement about the medical proffessionals in the Philippines.
Did the writer of this show did some research? Filipinos are known for their world class talents in different field. They didn't deserve to have such comments like that. |

This is disgusting! many Filipino's who is credible than americans. I mean I have work with filipino's and there are more efficient and hardworking.

Not at all. Racism deals with race. The Philipines are not a race. They are an ethnic group.
Blacks - race.
Whites - race.
Asians - race.
Philippines - ethnic group.
And, if anything, it is an "ethnic slam". Like suggesting that Nigerians are involved in Internet scams, or that Canadians can't pronounce "about", or that Americans don't know how to vote. |
