Is it true that women prefer aggressive men?

I heard from some people saying women prefer aggressive men. Do you think it is true? For example, like James Bond etc..., women will agree to go dating with such person without even second thought.

What do you think? Is it true that women prefer aggressive men?

I think, genetically, yes.

I know I get more female attention when I'm confident and aggressive, but not obnoxious.

I am more of the sensual confident type and that works pretty well I would say.

Yeah, I agree with you when you say genetically and I also get same experience like you. I think being aggressive or courageous is more important than being handsome to attract women's attention.

Aggression has an appropriate time and place. That's not one of them.

Just be yourself, and be confident.

i am not sure on this one.

which really annoys me, i am sort of a confident 'rugged' bloke, and recently my mates who i go drinking with, seem to be getting the girls - i am most deffinetly the 'alpha' of the group - but have been having a really dry spell, wheras the soft, shy, non confident lad who is petrified of the female of the species, has had the ladies (some good looking ones too) flocking to him, nobody can see why either

I think men and women define "aggression" totally different. Women (in general) like to feel the man in her life is strong and will protect. Men sometimes see aggression as being mean.

I don't know my friend,

Courage is always a good thing to have, but good looks to go with it always helps.

I'd say I'm average in my looks but I really feel that it's stability that attracts them women. I believe a man can be measured by his ability to keep his word. Women like that. You can be firm, but you don't have to be aggressive. I can appreciate a more aggressive lady believe it or not, more than the timid ones. Because I love a woman who knows what she wants!
