Well put. For understanding to happen, acceptance comes first. Accepting the other as he/she is - shorn of race,color,country,community etc.. Guess there is a lot we have to unlearn than learn in this world.

I don't think there was a winner... Neither US nor Iraq won in this particular war. They actually both lose! They've lost hundreds of their men in the battle. So how would you say there was a winner?

I happen to agree with the article. If it wasn't for the valuable oil in Iraq there wouldn't still be any American troops in Iraq.

Thats an easy one. By us going into iraq, IRAN won the war because as we are losing soldiers, they are building up their military forces, while sending aid to terrorists now in iraq, sending cash and weapons and intelligence to hezbolla(its proxy in lebanon) and helping out syria. What a mess

There is a complete mis-conception that who really won the war.In my opinion no one.Because BUSH was having a policy to finish up the roots of terroresm.And for that he entered his troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.In Afghanistan they are succeeded and have done some good developments, but in Iraq they ar estill hvaing resistance.There are many rasons of this unsuccess in Iraq.The main issue is the opposition of people in Iraq against US troops.The people of Iraq have not accepted US troops as they were accepted in Afghanistan, and secondly there was no support from all over the world as they were having for Afghanistan.
And one of the main reason is that American people didn't supported BUSH policy for Iraq.
I think this is a great mistake done by American people of not supporting Bush policies.I am in coonfusion that why American people don't think that Bush policies are in favour of their country, in favour of them.He is not making policies for himself but he is doing all this for his country.If American people support Bush on Iraq issue then international media will start focussing over this issue and so on the countries.America was having a strong support for Afghanistan attack and thats why they got success in very few days, but in Iraq they lost more then they gained.Suicide attacks and other blastings brought a lot of disasters not only to US forces but also of Iraq people and that why Iraqis got against them. and same with world wide media.Today we see international media show voilance and killings of people in Iraq which is mis-understood by most of people and they start protest against America.
I will say that don't think that BUsh is doing good or bad, but the time is over for that thinking and now we have to support him in Iraq so that he can bring peace in Iraq.
