How many Democrats does it take to screw in a light bulb?

One to suggest that a light bulb is not a light bulb for the first nine months of its life.

One to suggest that a light bulb is indeed s light bulb for the first nine months, but any woman wanting to break the light bulb while it's still in it's package have a right to privacy.

One to smear as sexists any man who wants to stop women from breaking light bulbs.

One to introduce legislation stating that non-minority owned businesses cannot sell light bulbs to the government.

One to introduce a minimum wage requirement for light bulb factories, effectively sending more jobs overseas and creating more unemployment in the US.

100 to back a bill that give grants to unemployed light bulb workers.

100 to increase taxes to pay for the grants.

One to denounce the "whiteness" of light bulbs as a racist conspiracy.

One to suggest that it takes a village to screw in light bulbs, not a family.

One to drop his pants in front of light bulbs.

One to deny under oath that he sexually harassed light bulbs.

One to suggest that the rich aren't paying their fair share for light bulbs, when in fact the top earning 20% pay a full 80% of taxes collected.

All of them to suggest that people who earn less than others are victims of a light bulb imbalance.

One to introduce a ban on light bulbs because they lead to global warming.

All of them to give the light bulb screwing contract to minority owned illegal immigrant employing business as a way of punishing White racist men.

One to offer that, at the end of the day, burned out light bulbs are somebody else's problem.

Let's hope that your avatar doesn't set a trend. I'd hate to see a lot of pasty white nerd avatars.

I'm tanned, baby. Even the hot Starbucks chick told me I had a "great" face color. And Starbucks girls are never wrong.

Hate to disagree John but minimum wage deals don't drive jobs overseas, it is the greedheads who want to maximise profits to the nth degree. Big corporations dont give a toss about anything but the bottom line whilst masquarading as patriots.

And, yes, it does send jobs overseas.

Pretend for a second that you were a business owner, and you also had the skills to do basic math.

You pay minimum wage to 100 people in a factory. If you move that factory to China, you'll pay one-third of that. What do you do?

Yes, it's a well known fact that jobs are going overseas by the millions. When was the last time you put on a shirt that was made in the US? Or watched a TV made in the US?
