The ones I feel bad for are the kids. A couple of them have problems, as the parents have admitted, and to make things worse... they're now all in foster care (with the exception of the one).
Nevertheless, a sister-brother marriage is a bit too close...

Thats something of future. They are thinking of today not of tommorrow. As if they were able to think of future then wouldn't marry.May be not of children issue but fear of society. They are thinking of the present time not of future.

No, that is actually something of the past as they already have produced 2 children, if I'm not mistaken, with defects. The article is in post #1.

Oh... I can't just understand why people do those kind of things. You're going to marry your brother or sister? Why won't they just find someone who are supposed to be "right" for a marriage. There are millions of people around the world which I think is not hard to get for a partner... geezz...
If "love" is what they're up for, I guess it's just not right...

Yeah, and Patrick also said: ..."Eric, our eldest child, has epilepsy, but he was born two months premature, he also has learning difficulties. Our other daughter, Sarah, has special needs,". ...
I'd say Patrick has some credibility issues.

Oh my.. This is kinda ewww.. But that's the way their life goes right? But you know, Its really unethical to marry your siblings.. and it is also against the law of some states just like their situation. If I were them, better move to another place where in their relationship is legal.. I guess there is no national or international standard for that. And this is kinda one of those borderline areas, where most people would frown upon it, but not every state has a law..

I am simply speechless...
I'm seriously a little sick right now just thinking about that. Not to mention these selfish bastards don't care a lick about the kids whose lives they are ruining. Um, sometimes I think I believe in sterilization of people who SHOULD NOT BE REPRODUCING!!!!1111
I can't remember who said it or where I read it, but we need some chlorine in this gene pool.

Ok...just saw this thread. As far as the relationship, I think no way but there are a lot of relationships out there that I personally wouldn't have. So, I'm not one to judge. NOW, with knowing there is such a high risk I think it was completely wrong and selfish to have those kids. They are the ones now suffering.
