Benazir Bhutto killed in suicide attack

Former Pakistani leader Benazir Bhutto, the first woman prime minister of an Islamic nation, was assassinated in an attack at an election rally in the city of Rawalpindi. She was 54.

``She's dead,'' a Bhutto aide, Imran Hayat, said today as he sobbed in a telephone interview from Rawalpindi General Hospital. Rioting began as her supporters gathered outside the hospital.

Well i know its a great tragedy to us.(Pakistani people), and let me tell you that i was also in the same park where she made her last speech.It was in Liaqat Bagh(name of park), and when she came to that rally , she was very happy and i think no one was aware of what will happen next.And also i meet her after her speech.(along with my uncle).My uncle is a politician.

Infact Pakistan's people party is the biggest political party of pakistan.And our family is a complete supporter of Pakistan's People Party.She was the upcoming prime minister.The first attack on her ws made in karachi on 18 ocotber 2007, but she luckly saved there but today she was not so lucky.

I saw the moments when the suicider blew up himslef.I just came back to home now after the bomb blast because members of PAkistan's people party are having a protest outside and police going to resist them.

A lot of vehicles have been fired up, also feew banks and shops are fired too.Thats why i came back to home.
I have mentioned a lot of times about these terrorist attacks.

Not sure about that but the elections that were to be held on 8th Jan. are postponed now..

And right now watching the news on telivision, am hearing that there is no big opponent to Musharraf to fight in the elections.

There a lot of other candidaes.You can see Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif of Muslim Leahue (N) and alos candidate from Muslim League (q), and MQM, and a lot of other candidates, but Nawaz Sharif is the strongest opponenet of Benazir.And he will be the upcoming prime minstes now.But let me tel you that Nawaz Sharif is having a meeting of his party just saw on television news."ARY one World" that they may bycott this election or may be elections are postponded.

No problem.And i am happy that you are taking interest in Pakistani politics.Keep watching Dawn News and you will be updated time to time.But i think you understand urdu so you can watch on Geo or ARY ne World or AAJ news.these are very fast news channels of PAkistan.Especailly GEO.And it is also abnned in PAkistan so i am watching ARY ONE WORLD news channel.
It seems that elections would be postponded.Not yet confirmed.

Yes she was one of the most superb personality in Pakistan Politics.And let me tell you that her father Zulfiqar ALi Bhutto was hanged up 1980's.And now Nawaz Sharif has also announced to bycott these elctions.Now lets see who come up as a new leader.I think other parties wil bycott too.
A lot of vehicles are burned out.
