I thought this thread would save clogging up the Ron Paul (Official V7N candidate for hope!) thread.

CNN says Obama and McCain have taken an early small lead here thanks to midnight voting. Two small villages characterised as "hamlets" (they have less than 100 people in them) have cast their votes.

When do the polling booths normally open BTW?

Any ideas or opinions about which way this will go? What will the results indicate? Can we dismiss any candidates after a couple of primaries? Will Billary be able to bounce back after another defeat? Which are the most important primaries? Will anything really be decided before Super Tuesday? All thoughts and wisecracks will be fully appreciated.

The candidates who's campaigns are underfunded will have to drop out. Candidates who don't perform well generally see their fundraising efforts dry up.

I haven't seen the Q4 reports yet, but McCain, Huckabee and Thompson were underfunded for a Super Tuesday campaign as of the Iowa caucus from what media reports I could find.

At the moment, it looks like Clinton for the Dems and McCain for the Republicans. NH seems to be more representative of the country than Iowa.

I will say this about Sen. Clinton;
She has been outlining this campaign for many years, probably since the Governors mansion, if not earlier.
Watching her tactics in real-time is quite fascinating.
I hope she goes far, if not win, just to witness her master plan unfold.

I can't say who I find to be more creepy, that Clinton woman or JulieAnnie. JulieAnnie has no chance anymore (thank the gods) but I'm pretty sure the powers-that-be will do anything to get Clinton elected, it's no coincidence that all the Bush backers the past two presidential elections now back Clinton.

And with anything I include rigged pre-and-main elections. The first news of a rigged election in NH is already coming in.

Don't get too excited about the results no matter who your support. The race is just getting started.

Heck, it might even be fun to watch this year.

There's only been 2% of delegates handed out so I think people need to chill out... getting too excited far too early.

I believe Bill Clinton didn't win his first state until a month after Iowa, no?

^ I've seen a lot of reports about this coming out today. You'd think after the past couple of elections it would have been solved. Shame.
