Giuliani gone
Giuliani drops out. I like that. Now he endorses McCain. I'm not feeling any (much) better.
I've been searching trying to see that last time both sides had such a pile of nothing to vote for. 1976 is about as close as I can find, but still....

Actually I will give a serious answer because I think it was a legit question...
I'm 19, almost 20 (eek), and my views are changing daily the more experience I get in this ugly world. Especially now since I live on my own and support myself... in a city full of ugly personalities and politicians.
When I first got here I considered myself conservative (mainly because i was 15/16 and my parents said it was what I should be), then I discovered liberalism and thought "ohhh, fun, another option", then over the past year I found myself smack in the middle (although no one on here could probably tell since I rarely say anything serious, my bad), and now I'm supporting RP and have never felt more strongly towards a Politician and his (or her) beliefs.
So here's to RP kicking McCain and Romneys ass in 08!

RP has solid ideas, but he's got a problem that will forever keep him from winning imo, and it's ironically the same thing that makes him a decent man.
Ron is a bad orator. On camera he comes across as a bit squirrelly. Even when what he's saying is making perfect sense, he's frequently saying it in a wide-eyed, "hair sticking up" kind of fashion that makes many people dismiss him as loopy. I realize politics shouldn't be show business, but in a world where everything is televised and people aren't as wise as they once were it matters.
I think he would do well to consult a professional on public speaking. It's a shame to have such a trivial thing clouding the message for many. I disagree with him on a couple of things, but I could come closer to voting for him with a clear conscious that most others running.
They say Thomas Jefferson sucked at public speaking. I wonder how he'd do if he ran in an election today.

This I do agree with, but it was also cause for my initial attraction to the man. I myself have a minor speech impediment due to concussions and have trouble organizing my thoughts when speaking. I'm, of course, far worse off than RP in that regard, but I feel as if I could talk with him 1x1.
I do understand why it causes concern for some, but I wish they could see past it.
