Hmmm, Canada sells the US more oil than half the Middle East...
And the Canadians have recently taken 550 of uranium from Iraq, according to an article I read in the Business Daily a while back...
So obviously the Canadians are hiding weapons of mass destruction, and will shortly require a regime change... Possibly when oil hits about $200-$250 a barrel.

You'd probably find humour in anything that would further ingratiate you with the other overzealous card-carrying Socialists.

I find humour in things that are funny. Go figure.
Poke fun at a socialist in a humourous way and I'll also find that funny.
Loosen up a bit and you might too.

*laugh* I poke fun at Socialists rather frequently, yet you always seem to be on the defensive.

Wow... Someone obviously doesn't get a joke unless there's a laugh track...
Do yourself a favour and don't watch any comedies coming out of the UK.
And the correct spelling is "naive".
It's easy to remember, it's Evian spelt backwards.

I have an extremely broad sense of humor. I watch comedies from the U.K. all the time as well. I don't get you're point. Your comment wasn't a comment of humor. It was a comment of insult plain and clear. You were putting down U.S. foreign policy because it doesn't conform to yours. How's that humorous?
And I like when someone is losing a debate or losing ground on a topic they resort to pointing out the trivial such as typos or misspellings. Attempting insult and misleading the attention of the topic.
Tell ya what, and this may not be possible for you, I'm not a socialist so I've never had to try it, but, if you reverse the way you look at things you may possibly see the light, and be able to even grow. I've gotten the impression from all your posts that you have a very one track line of thought and don't see anything through anyone elses view point except your own, or that that was given to you. However that works.

A lot of humour is based on insults.
If you disbelieve that, I'll post a bunch of mother-in-law jokes for you.
The truth is that you didn't find this funny because you were the mother-in-law.

No, I didn't find it funny, simply because it wasn't meant as a comical jest but as a hateful demeaning statement. This is something many have attempted to make as percepted fact against the USA.
Being the butt of a joke is one thing and I can and have filled that role enjoyably, being the subject of a hateful sarcasm is another thing all together.
