A New Election Emerges, Who Are You Going To Vote Fore
Since the announcement of Gov. Palin as Presidential Nominee John McCain's VP choice there has been no more discussion of Sen. McCain. Nor has there been immense discussion about the Democratic VP nominee Sen. Biden. It seems the only ones running for office at this point are Sen. Obama and Gov. Palin. Who are you going to vote for?
I'm wondering if the Obama controllers are going to even allow Sen. Obama to debate Sen. McCain during the Presidential Debates or if they are going to say no debates unless we get to debate against Gov. Palin?

Why wouldn't Obama debate? What are you talking about with respect to Palin? That's what the VP debates are for.

My point exactly, since the announcement of Palin the Obama camp has been contrasting Obama against Palin. They are acting like they are running against here as if she were the top of the ticket instead of McCain.

It really has been funny how the top of the Democratic ticket has had to revert to comparing himself to the Republican VP pick. The sad result for Obama is that even with that comparison he's been found wanting badly. That has resulted in nothing but showing to all willing to listen that the Rep. VP is more ready for the white house than the Dem Presidential nominee.
The Palin speech tonight put a new fear in the Dems. If you don't believe it just switch over to Democrat Party Public Television (CNN) and watch how flustered they are. Blitzer and the other commentators are just struggling for ways to dismiss her home run tonight, and you can literally hear the shake and frustration in their voices.

I turned it over to CNN during Larry King, he had 3 women on his show, all democrats of course, one a Senator. All 3 of them say that the Republicans have accused the Democrats and Obama's camp of asking the question how will Palin have enough time to be VP and be a mother. All three ladies said that no democrat or anyone they know of other than the Republicans have asked that question. One went as far as to say the only one she's heard ask that question was Dr. Laura, someone from the right.
To say the least this bothered me just a little bit. Talk about blatant lies. At any rate, apparently a similar discussion went on on NBC earlier, another news station I have no respect for but here is the happenings, see what you think about it.

I have no doubt that this will be one of the nastiest elections ever. Because its looking very close indeed. The question over Palin to my mind is nothing to do with motherhood, or her kids, or whatever. Its to do with why McCain picked her over vast swathes of vastly more experienced Republican candidates for the job.
If one of our V7n Republicans could tell me what you knew of her before she was picked as running mate, that would be something. Had you ever heard of her before? At all? Why was she picked?

You see a lot of Americans loving her, don't you? That's why. From what I have seen of her, I think she's awesome.

I guess at the end of the day the elections are by definition a popularity contest. However, I don't think I could love someone who sued the government to get polar bears taken off the endangered list, because it hampered oil companies. I'm getting mixed messages off her regarding the oil - I know she's stood up to oil interests in the past, but on this one she's lined up with the blinkered Bush administration, who wouldn't know proper science if kicked them in the seat of the pants. So I'm seeing a lot of question marks here. Nothing major, I still think her selection was a stunt, though she may prove very competent nonetheless.

John, from what I hear she will shoot you and mount you as soon as look at you, not necessarily in that order. Oh crap, this is just exciting you more.

Man, I did get to watch some of the after review of MCcains speech tonite on CNN. I thought CNN had improved their biased coverage somewhat but after hearing the larger portion of the views they showed I know other wise now.
If it wasn't so sad how the blatantly biased the mainstream media was being it would be funny.

Fortunately America is beginning to see it and polls show that a huge portion of America sees them as not only biased, but actively trying to get Obama elected. CNN and MSNBC have lost complete credibility this year. It happened to Dan Rather last election and he was cast out of the industry in shame.
I use CNN during the election like most other people I know. The angrier Wolf Blitzer seems and the more liberal hatchets he brings into his little "discussion" circle, the better the speech went. I've never seen him as frazzled as he was after the Palin speech. McCain started weak tonight, but brought down the house by the end of the speech, so CNN brings out the electoral board like it's election night using old stats to try and make the Rep. ticket look to be in trouble. Pathetic and obvious even to people who don't really follow politics.
New polls show that just about half the people see Palin as more prepared to lead than Obama. She's the VP and has only been in public view 6 days, and already she's nearly ready to pass him.
The CBS tracking poll shows Obama has lost his 8 point national lead to a dead tie today, and those figures are using pre-Palin data.
CNN and the like will get desperate now. They'll be doing everything they can to assasinate the character of Palin, they know there's nothing they can do to McCain.

Yeah it's so blatantly apparent. The only reason I used CNN during the convention was during the speeches so that I could watch them in High Def, made me feel close some how. I always watch Fox News. Contrary to popular belief, even though on the viewpoint side by some of their people such as Hannity, although it's offset by Colmes, I have found them to be the closest to the middle so I can get a fair view. And contrary to popular belief I did keep an open mind towards Obama for as long as possible, he just made it so impossible to do for long.

Obama never wants to debate! He knows he will lose if he ever does.

Oh, I see Palin wants Creationism taught in schools. Rather un-American if you ask me, considering your Constitution has a very clear stance on the issue. Apparently she's never heard of the separation of Church and State. Either way, that's enough to convince me she's totally unsuitable to lead. How can you have a leader who doesn't respect one of the guiding principles of the Constitution?
Oh you do understand also that a McCain win means the troops stay in Iraq until at least 2013, and he'll probably have a pop at Iran too.
