how can i use jQuery?
 
can you tell how i can add jQuery effects like these websites ?

i have gone through amazing jQuery effect on these websites and want to use them.

does jQuery completely replace Flash?

and what can be created using jQuery?

Download jquery, learn it(1, 2), and if possible also use the UI library which already comes with most of these effects ready to use.

Now seriously, use html/js as much as possible rather than flash. Flash destroys your website's navigability.

Basically every fancy non-flash effect that you see in most websites can be made in jquery, browse the plugin galleries and UI library demos to see more.

hehe, I LOVE Flash but rather use it for video , animation or presentation - that is what it's really good at, rarely a reason to do your whole site in flash.

I think javascript survived in the early 2000's because of Ajax, otherwise it would have been replaced by flash. And now it's all going the other way, programmers are using javascript for effects and flash is only surviving because of its media playback capabilities... :P

Now that some browsers support html5 with <audio> and <video> tags it would be a matter of time until everyone's installs the newer browsers and flash won't be needed for media playback, check out Google Wave and how they're using html5 for their development. It's pretty amazing.
