Any Good Books or Blogs about writing for SEO

I'm still new and learning about SEO. Are there any good books or blogs that cover the topic?

You might want to read this blog post.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I will look into those books. I especially like the "SEO Like I'm 5..." Haha. Great name for a book. That book was probably made for me. :D

There is no book on Seo as such. You will learn while practicing.

This isn't helpful, where should the thread creator start then?

Provide more details.

One that was referred to me a while back, not specifically for "SEO, but is more in tune with web content (verbiage), is "Web Copy That Sells". Now, it doesn't go specifically into "best copy for SEO", but it does put your mind straight in terms of what you should do for your web pages, emailings etc, and how it pertains to grab the attention of your web visitors.

And, since we are really supposed to write for humans first, tweaking for SEO after the content is written, should be relatively easy.

I have that book!

I also have
- Killer Web Content by Gerry McGovern.
- Search Engine Optimization An Hour a Day (heavier read than the other 2 mentioned).

I think all website owners should read Google Starter SEO Guide and the Webmaster guidelines so you know first hand what the search engines are looking for and be able to determine good and shady SEO.

You might want to try SEO MOz and search engine journal online. I follow them mostly for any Google and SEO updates.
