Built my wife a riding lawn mower.

My wife always wanted a riding lawn mower.

She works all day and is always tired when she comes home from work and thought that a riding lawn mower would help her get the yard work done quicker so she would have more time for the chores inside the house.

SO, being the handy sort of guy that I am, I actually built her a riding lawn mower. I thought she'd be pretty happy and even give me a big hug. I have never been able to understand why some women are so hard to please.

lol.. I thought that was great... so, how did she end up thanking you??? ;)

By not inflicting a fatal wound while I slept.

See, your wife is actually not hard to please.

DotComBum 07-14-2009 11:40 PM

I'm wondering whether you can ride that easily on grass.

Apparently not. She married me.

I think that is genius! Perhaps some mountain bike wheels at the back and a way of lifting the cutting blades, (perhaps a tricycle would be better), and you would have a viable product.

Exercise the chores away!

I just don't get women.

Brilliant! Do they come in an electric model, not a fan of pedal power!

That was nice & funny :D

My suggestion for the next version is to create Riding Tandem Lawn Mower :D
That way you could spend some (quality) time together.
... also you could mow neighbourhood's lawns and make some cash.

Are you kidding? Look a little closer. That's a girl's bike.

Girl's bike. Boy's bike.
Never made sense to me that the one with the balls gets the bike with the bar. :|

I know, I've done my share of howling over that issue. Makes no sense at all.

But the one wearing a skirt doesn't have to drape it over the bar. (While women's fashions have changed over the years, that really was the original reason for having no bar on girl's bikes.)

Makes perfect sense...
I suppose they attached weights on the skirts to prevent the wind from blowing them up?

If your wife is not pleased with this model, make it truly a powered model.

Next time, just take the front wheel off a motorcycle and...

juliensimon 07-17-2009 02:42 PM

you should seriously think of commercializing that product.
With the energy cost increasing, it would be an awesome alternative!
