Atlantic Division Playoffs: Toronto vs Boston
Anyone watching this series? Kind of a surprise last night. Didn't expect the underdogs to win.

Big win the other night for Toronto. Hoping they can do the same tonight.

Big surprise with Columbus taking a 2-0 series lead against Tampa. I like it!

Sorry. Just not my thing.

Matbe a litte casual golf watching this afternoon.

It's Ok, our team didn't show up and play well at all this evening, and lost. Not the same team that won the previous game for sure.

I should have started a different thread on the Masters this week as it's shaping up for maybe another green jacket for Tiger?

ScriptMan 04-14-2019 05:49 AM

Tiger surely is playing better than he has in a long time.

It is almost time for the early, weather related starting time.

LMD 04-14-2019 06:26 AM

Forgot about that - 9am? Might turn it on shortly.

In the mean time, our team lost miserably. Kind of how we expected game 1 to go. Well, regroup and try something different next game.

Masters off to a good start. I watched for about an hour or so and am recoding the rest for later so I can skip the commercials.

Ya, I've got things to take care of today, but have made the mistake of leaving the tv on, and wandering by once in a while and end up getting stuck on the couch for a bit each time.

Won't say what's going on so you can enjoy watching it later on

ScriptMan 04-14-2019 01:21 PM

No. I have to confess I spent about 5 hours on my butt, hitting pause when I needed beer or to free some.

Won't ruin it but I enjoyed the end.

Tiger is good for golf. Always has been, even through all that stuff he put himself thru. But at the end of the day, it looks like he's back - if not only for a little while.

Game 3 of the series tonight in our barn. Series tied at one win a piece. I have no idea what our team is going to do in this game. If they try and match physicality, they'll probably lose. If it's turning the other cheek and countering with speed and finesse - they should win.

ScriptMan 04-15-2019 05:43 AM

Did not realize there was more than one game to the playoffs.

I enjoyed seeing him win.

That Francesco Molinari fellar is a darned fine golfer also. So cool and calm until he dropped that one in pond. I suspect we will hear more of him.

While seeing Tiger win as validation for himself being a contender again, clearly he doesn't need the money. In most cases I usually lean towards the underdog. I was hoping Molinari would hold on.

I root for established players too, like Jason Day, Rickie Fowler and Spieth along with Corey Conners from Canada. :)

They all got a decent payday.

Of the contenders I was torn between Molinari and Tiger. I pretty much like them all. I love to watch people make something look simple when I know how hard it really is. For me anyway.

I'm just happy to land my ball on the green from 100-150 yards out. Those pros aren't happy unless their shot lands 6 feet or less from the hole.
