Better read this one and it's a good idea to inform your followers as well.

Back in July 2014 Domain Registry of America was suspended. Never heard anymore about it. Guess they didn't loose their domain registry authority...

I looked up this thread because in my RSS feed there is another article about domain registry scams: GoDaddy Warns Of Latest Phishing Scam

There also was an email scam for purchasing the Asian version of your domain name. Haven't gotten any of those lately. Scam to register Asian domain names
