Is it worth to buy iPhone X for $1000?

Apple has introduced three brand new flagships yesterday. iPhone 8, X, and 8 Plus. My cousin wants to buy iPhone X at the end of this year. Apple says that the iPhone X is a gadget from the future that has arrived early(still at November end).:roll:

Is it worth to spend 1000 bucks for bigger, crisper, FaceID technology and 5.8 inches edge-to-edge OLED screen iPhone X?:roll:

I think Its worth buying if you're an Apple fan. Its definitely a gadget that would make a lot of things easier, flexible and stronger. But It still depends on how people value the product.

vaguar 09-18-2017 12:14 AM

It's going to get way more expensive when it gets to India, around US $ 1500. Definitely not worth paying that much.

Xlam 09-18-2017 04:24 AM

i think tbh it is worth it, considering its features i have a feeling if you wait a bit more the price may still lower

shibaa987 09-19-2017 04:04 AM

Well, it depends on your lifestyle. People who will buy the Iphone X are not looking at $1000. They just see Apple, that's all. ;)

I think there is no point wasting lot of money into Iphone X instead of that you can purchase IPhone 8 or 8 Plus.

It will be around 90000 INR here in India. I don't think I will advise anyone to buy a Phone worth 90000 (around $1400).

I agree with what the person above was alluding to. People aren't buying it for features, they are buying it for status. $1,000 is the entry fee to that status.

It's like Nike's basketball shoes line. Air Jordan's are the most expensive and most coveted shoes in the world. It was Nike's basketball line that Apple turned to long ago to emulate in understanding human nature when brand building. And it worked tremendously well. And still does.

Yes, adding the next evolutionary (and obvious) features is important but it isn't the key reason why Apple sets record sales and profits. Apple is still the most profitable tech (and incidentally, cell mobile) company in the world.

Actually if we compared this price to samsung galaxy s8.Its not worth to buying this gear.

I think writing 10 lines of specifications is not worth the discussion and that too in case of iPhone.
People who Love Apple products, especially iPhone, for them it's worth for $5000 too. No matter what is the price, they will buy it.
People who love not to pay much for just a phone, for them its not worth.

In short, it is one's interest. If you love it, its worth for you.

1k $ for a phone that can do almost nothing. If can - you have to pay... But hey if you can afford it... :D

TermLife 09-29-2017 11:07 AM

I cannot see how the iphone is worth that much money, it just makes no sense to me.

sanjo 09-30-2017 01:34 AM

Wait if you can

if you are serious fan of iPhone than go for it. But if you thing you will get more than this, than wait.
My suggestion is "Keep Waiting for next iPhone". Cause this phone looks and design is not well enough as Mi Max 2. Though it has many good modern features, still you can get more than this in $1000.

H2 rider 09-30-2017 10:27 PM

I'm content with my iPhone 5. I'd rather upgrade to an iPhone 6 for a low price.

Ian Zonja 10-03-2017 03:53 AM

If you like Apple, go for it...
I would never buy it tho.. xD

i guess you should wait until you get some reviews about iphon x, then buy. becuase new releasing devices always have high price and no reviews, let it be few moths old, then check comments on different reviews website like gsmarena, and then you will be able to deice easily in all these new launching sets

vaguar 10-04-2017 09:34 PM

These days all phones can do pretty much everything. Majority of apps are available on Android and iOS and the cameras are good enough for the average user. So unless you want to play around with FaceID and add a layer of inconvenience for yourself, there really is no reason to go for iPhone X.
