What do you mean "monetize it"? You mean you are going to buy those premium .TEL domains and then sell them later for profits? If that is it, as long as the domains are premium keyword rich ones, you may have a chance.

Or are you talking about developing the sites?

I doubt .tel would be very good for monetization, as I even do not know if it is possible to host a site under this domain name...

Yes, I know it "monetize" means making money by placing ads on your sites. I should accept that I don't know much about .tel, but if they don't allow you to host a site on this domain, what's the use of registering them?

BTW, What do you mean by "i even do not know if it is possible to host a site under this domain name"?

I have already registered several .tel domain with eurodns.com and I think that it would be great for OP to register such domain name. As with .com, where those that understood the potential early saw a great return on investment,I think that .tel domains will be reasonable to register.
