Let me see here.....
I have read alot of posts here, ALOT, to get a feel of the community(I try to think of it as a community) where everyone has something in comman.
Now after reading enough posts I relized their are many levels of people in about the same areas some beginners, some novice, some professinals ect.,ect
Now if we are afraid to point someone in what we think my be a good direction( like posting alink to a hosting company or a reseller) then how can we truely help each other?
I know that in a forum like this you really don't want any one just comming in and
posting SPAM ect posts, but on the other hand you can always tell if it's spam
Example: you see thay have posted a link like this:
http://www.greathostingcompany.com/c...cgi?ref=105329
Now look close at the link anything even close to this where a referal ID is used
is SPAM and the poster has something to gain. it's just plain SPAM
but a link like
www.greathostingcompany.com is inocent they truly if they don't own it
are posting HELPfull links for anyone wanting to check it out.
But if they post
www.greathostingcompany.com and say BILL sent ya thats SPAM too.
So if you really use your head(I know you have one) you will know what is SPAM and what is not, otherwise
you have only one other option, become a community afraid of SPAM and unwilling to help each other.(Which would make comming here a waste of time).
it's upto you.
