Reseller hosting to Clould hosting

Is it better to move from shared to dedicated hosting when your accounts grow or from shared to cloud hosting. i read somewhere that it is better to move from shared to cloud when it comes to reseller account.

Cloud hosting is a new technology in the web hosting industry and hence it is not very correct to suggest someone to move from shared hosting package to Cloud hosting until you are aware of the purpose.

If you requirements increase and shared hosting package is not sufficient for you, you can choose a reseller hosting package or a VPS

Garry, i might have asked the question in a confusing manner.. simply put.. is it bettet to upgrade reseller hosting to clousd hosting or to dedicated server when you clients increase. Reason being once you upgrade to cloud you will not have to worry about ever upgrading anymore but in dedicated, you will again need to buy another server and configure everything once you exaust the space.

Thumbs up

Well, if you hosting provider is offering cloud hosting for a long time and offers great features and services with it, then you should choose it, however, if the hosting company is not offering the kind of services you need with cloud hosting then a dedicated server would be an ideal choice

In this case everything will depend on the web hosting company you are going to migrate to... That is indeed very important.
I think that the next step is reseller account. Not cloud or dedicated server. I recommend you can concentrate on the name of the company and reviews. Depends
But if you are working with the company like pacifichost.com - better inlarge top the reseller account because in this case you will have 1. lower preice and enough space and good customer service
Paying more with dedicated server - time wasting as for me

Cloud might appear a bit expensive now. I have seen a lot people interested in this but prefer wait for the cheaper rates

Cloud hosting does not mean that you will never have to upgrade to a full fledge dedicated server. If your requirement is high and the hosting provider you choose is not able to deliver that on with cloud hosting then you will have to go for a dedicated server. If you have not found the right cloud hosting provider then for the time being you can upgrade to a reseller or a vps.
