can WHMCS be used with a premier paypal account

Hello
i have a web hosting service and my paypal account is a premier one, not merchant. am thinking of purchasing whmcs. can i use it with my premier paypal account or is it necessary to have a merchant account?
i cannot upgrade to a business account at this point of time.

Yes that will work fine. As long as you can enable IPN then it will be OK.
