Very new and interested need help

Im very interested in this idea, I have a designed website picked out for webhostselling but I'm not sure where to begin. Does it pay good? What kind of work would I have to do? What are the steps to set it up? I have a lot more questions but any ideas you can give to a newbie would be appreciated

Thanks,
Mike

Start with a plan. Try to find out who your demographic is, get to know them and what they expect from a hosting provider. Then find a means by which to deliver the product that you are offering.....Will you buy a server, rent one, or will you start off small with a reseller account? After you decide this, then head out and get an idea of what some of the better service providers are, study them thoroughly, because there are more scams around than not.

Basically it works much the same way a standard hosting account works. They alot you a certain amount of storage and bandwidth(Some limit your processor usage as well). The difference is that you will have the ability to create hosting accounts. There are a lot of different things and terms that you'll need to know, like for instance.....Overselling....The best place to learn about these things is on the hosting resellers sites. Go through their plans and try to figure out what it is that they are offering. I will PM you the reseller provider that I use if you are interested. They are a pretty well known company and so far I haven't had too much trouble with them. Plus they offer a little something extra called failover hosting, which is basically just 2 servers doing the work of one.

Hi, the first step is getting a site, then finding the reseller plan, and if your choice is correct it will save you lots of hassle.
