Automatic account creation with ClentExec??

Hi,

Does anyone know if automatic account creation is possible with CleintExec? What I mean by this is, can a client sign up for hosting through this system and be set up with an account and get access to their cpanel / web-space immediately?

Yes, I believe this is possible.

My understanding is that you can set it up to do this, or you can choose to manually approve each order before CE provisions it for you.

In addition to the panels listed, I know for a fact that they have added Plesk support too.

I.e. they support (at least) WHM/Cpanel, DirectAdmin, Interworx, Plesk.

This is definitely possible. It's what we run at Hosting Puppy.

If you haven't yet purchased Client Exec, I highly recommend taking a look at Modern Bill. It's a little more expensive, but only about $5 or so on the monthly license and it has WAY more features.

Most specifically, MB supports many more domain registrars. If that's part of your plan, then CE may not be for you. It's good at what it does, but MB's feature set far exceeds CEs.

I also think (but am not sure) that MB supports affiliate programs which CE does not at the moment.

If we were going to do it all over again, we'd go Modern Bill. As it is we're going to have to migrate one day but we're trying to figure out the best way to do that.

I forgot about this thread. I suppose I should update it.

Shortly after writing this thread we did give Modern Bill a try. We spent many hours on it configuring it and then gave up. It is many orders of magnitude more complex than Client Exec and really unintuitive.

Now that CE 3.0 is on the horizon, things are really looking up. We're running the PR 2 of CE 3.0 and it's quite nice.

I withdraw my recommendation for Modern Bill.
