reselling from serverpoint.com

What is more profitable to resell shared web hosting or dedicated servers? ServerPoint.com offers both variants and I don't know which one to choose. Their system of discounts seems attractive for me.
What would you advise me to do?
Any comments?

Seeing a system of discounts from ServerPoint.com on reselling web hosting, I'd say they are really good. If you resell dedicated server from them, you get from 5% to 50% discounts, and if shared web hosting - get 40% discounts. I think you may try them and then tell us about your personal experience with this company.

Requirements and guidelines of ServerPoint.com reseller program:

You must provide customers with direct support
Your account must be in good standing, or you may lose reseller status
That you have at least two servers with us at regular price
Your customers may not contact us directly
Program applies only to those reselling our services, not primarily for your own use.
These demands seem fair. Otherwise it can couse many issues.

I don't think that profitability is the only factor here, there are other factors that should be considered here and they are:
1. The level of expertise that you have at the moment, as in dedicated server reselling it's up to you to support your clients.
2. the initial investments into the project: in dedicated reselling Serverpoint.com want you to get a few servers, so you should pay for them and then get clients to be hosted there.

As for support I don't think ServerPoint.com will refuse to help their clients with support. Their live chat is almost always available. Ask him if you encounter any issues.

I wonder if it's difficult to make first steps in resellinng business.
As I see ServerPoint.com is rather old company and they must very quality as thay are still in this business.
But what else web hosting companies would you recommend to use for reselling?
