Actually the the resellers account is only free but the domain name and the web host package your selling it comes with a cheaper price. So you earn money by doing markups. For example their cheapest package is 40$ a year then you sell it about 50$ a year so you get 10$ out of it.

Not all FREE Services are expected to be poor services. Because as you could simply analyze it, actually it's not FREE. You get something and after that the provider of free services get something back. Some Web Hosting offers FREE Hosting for ADS, Research and Publicity.

And in this case the resellerpanel offers something free to let you sell their hosting and you earn as I said by the markups you made.

Ahh, that kind of reseller's. I thought you meant a reseller's by means of you buy a WHM Resell account through a company, and you can resell their hosting under your account, but you get all the money.
