Why choose one? php, html, aspx, etc. can all be used in the same site....

html 1 to start then build from there. Use the best language for the job make sure it's spiderable, life is good

if you are running apache, you can use .html files even though it is actually php code. Look into mod_rewrite.

Well IMO, you can use any extensions you want. If you are going to use a dynamic page, just make sure that your content is crawable by the spiders. You can use a mod rewrite if you want to change it to .html extensions.

For dymnamic site use PHP HTML is very difficult to edit and also if u wants include anything or change anything can do easly on PHP. In my site m using one template and internel pages are asp. So in any links or script need to do only in the template. So always for dynamic preffer PHP, asp ....in SEo all are same does not matter whether its PHP or HTML

HTML is good for a simple web site with static pages. I think all technologies will ultimately produce HTML.

PHP is not the problem for search engine bots. You can go with it also. Most of ecommerce sites are developed in Php only..but you have an another sector.

It depends on how complicate of your element of source code, even some html , they are consisted of complex of tables. But if PHP use all element is using CSS design, the result of PHP is better.

You may especially want to use CSS to reduce the amount of code in your pages. some search engines look at the code to content ratio.

Well, both can be great for static web pages created because by using quality links pointing at websites, there would be no difference between Html and PHP web pages.

Search engines don't have issues indexing sites, whether they are HTML or PHP pages. But HTML pages seem to be the standard for SEO, so if you use php you could use mod rewrites to make them HTML.

But then again, search engines don't have problems indexing sites that use php without mod_rewrite.
