Why is this site #1 on google???

HI Everyone,

while browsing today i noticed this site...http://www.tacticsone.com/ and if you scroll down past the splash screen there is an outrageous amount of pure 100% text spam on the page....how comes they havent been banned?

I realise they do have 77 or so backlinks though and PR6....

is it because they have such a good PR that they can spam?

That looks terrible. Hidden links there as well.

Google doesn't tend to be very quick at penalising sites for hidden text and links. Apparently, they claim to tweak the algo to remove such sites, but so far as I can tell, Google has no automated way of detecting a lot of hidden text and links, let alone penalise them.

i've noticed the same. however google is working on a lot of really advanced stuff (like resetting the PR and backlinks of domains that have been sold) I wouldn't risk using spam like that. You might wake up one day to find that Google has implimented into their algo a way to detect hidden text, and now your site is banned for ever.
