Hello Friends,

i have just confusion that, in article, can we place our keywords in About Author Bio with targeted link?

i have not done like this, but seen some articles with this format, that is this method harms me for ranking of site which url is in author bio?

Yes it can be done in fact some article website put instructions on how many link is allowed on the author's bio section, mostly 2 are the max allowed better be keen about that or your article may get rejected for not following their rules.

It was supposed to help you so it's a no, but don't just drop a linked keyword on your author bio make it in a sentence form instead.

but does it harms for my ranking?
my sites pr is right now 2 so, after article submission is there chances to loose ranking and PR? coz i am planning to place link in my author bio, my bio is descriptive but placing 2 strate link on my main keywords. (For Ex. my bio text and keyword 1, keyword 2)

You are doing it right. Keywords and links in the resource box and NO, this is not going to hurt you.

As the other person has stated, vary your anchor text, however I have seen competitors out-ranking me and when analyzing their anchor text links, they have not varied it at all. I'm going to start using my exact keyword more often and see what happens.

However Page Rank is still a large factor in any SEO plan, with that in mind PR will have a much larger effect on the SERP then proper anchor text. The two in combination with each other will have even a larger effect.
But in most cases we as web developers do not have complete control over the anchor text that is used to link to our site. The links that we can control, we should and must optimize them for keywords, but many links we do not have control off and in these cases we must just accept the link as is.

I actually find that the links on my site can have a drastic effect on the SERP and these links we have complete control off. Here is an excellent way to have better SERP position, point keyword targeted links from higher PR pages of our site to boost position of lower PR pages.

For example My home Page has three content links to pages that I wanted to boost their position and at first these pages had a PR of 0 and now all three have a PR of 1.

The point is optimizing the links on your own site can have much faster results then trying to optimize links on someone else's site and is much easier. Use the PR you have already accumulated to build content links to the pages that you are trying to boost their position.

The benefits of this is that you already know the PR value of the page casting the vote and the link can be modified or removed at any time if you don't like the effect.

You can place your targeted keywords there and that does not hurt your site.

Yes, my main keyword,

if i am targeting link on my keyword, will it harmful for ranking or benefit for ranking.

all most all have told that it's good, no need to worry.

yes you can do but on other article directory they dont allow that

pretty obvious . Nothing is like harmful in putting your keyword at link place. Although it will help you in both your keyword and link popularity.

How can i get link popularity? In Author Bio, Article sites, gives nofollow link, it will not help me for link back.

is there any site? which gives us dofollow link from resource box (Author Bio)?

yes, there are some article submission sites which give no-follow but most of them are do-follow. If possible mark those sites, so that next time you don’t need to put that effort as earlier
