I'm working on the key words/phrases and have been looking at metas of other sites. On some of the sites, the "view" "source" doesn't work.
1) Is there a way around this?
2) How is this done?
Thanks
I know that you can write a page in java and store all of the page code in a seperate document (pageonejava.js). You would see the call for the .js in the source code. There is a way to hide code using a perl script that is a little more complex than the java.js method. And, sometimes when your browser cache gets too full in Internet Explorer the browser stops displaying source code but it is actually there. Maybe it's as simple as clearing your cache to see the source code of the page.
Assuming the page is in the Google cache, I pull it up there, and then look at the source. Quick and easy. If the page changes a lot, it might not be current, but it's likely to give you what you need.
I went through a long period of not being able to view ANY scource codes on ANY sites. Turns out the problem was that I had put a shortcut to Notepad on my Desktop. Not sure why, but it renders your source viewing abilities virtually impossible.
