Sitemaps??

Hi,

Is a sitemap.php just as good as a sitemap.xml?

the extension makes not difference, it is what is inside that matters. Don't forget sitemaps can be submitted to more than just google. You can submit your sitemap to Ask, Msn, and Yahoo.

Good to know the sitemap submistion to all the SE. But still m doubted and confuced is it too important to submit, witout submitting also getting indexed and in good postion. then why needed

That's right you can submit your sitemap not only to google but also to other search engines. It will give the other search engine an idea on what they will find in your website.
