Content..How much is too much?
How much content is to much content to add to my site daily?
3 pages....5 pages?
article directories get 100 of new pages a day but my site is relatively new.
Any advice?
I don't want to get penalized for to much content but i have great writers on staff.

you will not be penalized for new content
the worse that can happen is that not all your new content will get index super fast but other than that, you can add as much as you want, as long as it stays on topic and it's relevant to the rest of the website.

I haven't read any violation about the limits of adding new content. For as long as it is unique, you shouldn't be worried.

Anything under 5 articles per day of unique content should be fine.
Unless you are a super writer I can't imagine anyone being able to produce more than that. Really though consistent over the long haul is a better approach. If you have 20 articles a month that you can write; space them out.

may maximum word per post is 500-600 words because article directories usually approve article that has minimum of 500 words.

if you add too much page on your site may affect the crawl speed for your site and your new content will not get index faster

Content is good forever. You can put as much as you can but be careful content should be relevant to your website and the topic you are talking about.
Content always helps to get the traffic. So ths is good.

but you should never forget that quality is better than quantity. don't just focus on getting more content for your websites but also consider on how those content could be helpful and useful for your visitors.

Your site would not be penalized for having too much content. As long as they are relevant and unique, there's nothing wrong having them on your site.

"Too much is never a good thing". I suggest you just limit your content in your site/blog. It will cause slow indexing of your pages and content. I prefer quality than quantity, interesting and useful contents are better than tons of crap posts.

there is not limit as such, the only thing is you need to maintain a good pattern over time.

Agree on the poster above. But don't forget to put your anchor text keywords in it, so that, you'll still going to be visible in one of your particular targeted keyword. (that's what we called "keyword rich content")

I think that one content per day will be fine. Impress your writers every day with something new. Make them looking forward to see what's new in the next day.... :-)

Content is the king of the site. Add maximum content and maintain the quality of it. If add million page google will not penalize you. But if u copy past others content or make duplicate u will be penalized
