Digg.com Suffers Under Regime Change??!

I have recently read this article. And I was shock that.....

"The original submission in digg, posted an hour before its duplicate, received only 21 diggs. The second, made popular by a so-called powerdigger made the front page with 2752 diggs."

That's really odd... Duplicate contents/posts win over the original contents/posts...

Users have suggested switching to rival site Reddit.com, where submissions are anonymous. Others have proposed an algorithmic penalty system such as the one in use at Flickr that seems to devalue group submissions and add value to unconnected simultaneity. Still others, over 1,100 of them, have signed an iPetition about the situation....

I wonder what's that so called "power digger" and Ive noticed lots of duplicate posts in digg and yup That's really odd for Duplicate contents/posts to win over the original contents/post.

I haven't actually noticed any duplicate posts in digg, not at all and even tried submitting the posts of the same nature with the same user and the other with different users but it didn't passed the security in digg... I don't know how they done it, well, its not like I like to know so I would be able to do it as well...

maybe digg are trying to be more advanced. With this change we really don't know what is on Digg's mind.
