Google PageRank Calculator - SEO Tool

Hi all,

I just got done creating a PageRank calculator that will calculate the amount of PR you'll need from links pointing to your site in order to achieve a specific PageRank.

With the tool you can get an estimation of what it would take to get a web page up to what ever PageRank you want. The tool does a calculation based off the original PageRank formula written by Google's founders.

As well, as any experienced SEO knows, I understand that ranking is not all about the PageRank number you have, but the tool is nice to play around with getting an understand of the estimation of effort it will take to increase your PR.

Accuracy is hard to tell, it works off the original PageRank formula so as long as that is what's still being used by Google and you get the damping factor and average links right it should be pretty close. I don't know that it would be 100% but at least close enough to give you an estimate. From my own sites and clients of mine, it returns just about the same results as what I took to get them to the PageRank they are at so it's a pretty good estimate.

Great tool! It says I need 114 More PR1 links before I get a PR5 site. My site is currently PR3.

This is a great seo page rank tool

It's my first time to see a PR calculator like this. Anyway, I suggest don't focus much on PR.

I've updated the tool to make it more accurate. You can read about it on the site, PageRank Calculator. Basically I adding in a calculation for the fact that it gets harder to move up in PR as you get a high PR number.

I will be making more refinements to the tool, as it still seams a little off when you get to really high PR. But for lower PR (PageRank somewhere around 6 and lower) it now seams to be much more accurate.
