Quality importance
Yes, Quality is better than quantity.. Mainly in this Search engine optimization because if the backlinks are less quality then they will be disappeared in no time. So go for Quality links where you can see the links for long time

absolutely right quality is better than quantity., because most SE's were looking for a quality rather than quantity, just like in making creating content.,
