Social Bookmarking: Scuttle + ScuttlePlug + Pligg

I wanted to know the seo value of Scuttle, ScuttlePlus and Pligg sites. Does Google frown upon these kind of sites in anyway?

What is the difference between.. Propeller.com vs. Getboo.com??

I know the ranking and site traffic is most likely different. But I really want to know if I was bookmarking a web page or video on either, which one would be better?

Does Google use any method to measure the quality of the link itself? Or is it just simply, the more links the better?

You're talking about social bookmarking sites that lets you submit "news" right? Well for me, it's best if they are dofollows. Pligg sites are great if the topic you're posting is interesting, else, it'll just get buried along with the other uninformative posts.

You can still submit to SB sites that uses the "nofollow" attribute, if the site drives traffic and/or sales that you want.

Scuttle and pligg are mostly sites that are worthless in conditions of SEO. You must bookmark on authentic bookmarking sites that are do follow, undergo free to use them. Check all the activity of the site because more active the site is, more normal search engine bots will visit the site and well again chance you have of getting you link followed.

So then let me ask, what is a good way to build good and quality links to videos and news related sites? Can you recommend a tool? Although I know most tools cant be automatic, most are semi-automatic..correct?

Social Bookmarking is One of the Main task that has to be performed while doing SEO to any website for getting good traffic. This Scuttle and pligg are the sb sites which are not that much preferred when compare to Social bookmarking Sites like Digg, Humsuffer, faves, furl and many more...

I have a large number of Social bookmarking Sites.. Nearly 250 sites. By submitting your URL in this sites you will definitely get good traffic and also you will be indexed good in Google

Huge SB sites you have james.

Me I do have 500+ SB sites. And I am still looking for some more of it. I check it often to ensure that the site listed in my own list are updated and still in operation.

since you have a site that is filled with videos, the best thing to do is to get people to locate them easily, now for news related websites, google news lets you submit your news to them or even your news page url with some conditions and rules of course.

social bookmarking is the best way to increase ranking and link popularity....there are some good bookmarking site..like digg.com clipmark.com, clipclip.org, stumbleupon, Mr wong...and others are...give you good results..

I would say some Pligg sites are worth the effort. DesignFloat and Sphinn are two examples where I have recieved a lot of traffic from.

If the Pligg site uses a sitemap then their their articles, with the right titles and keywords, may get listed on Google and drive traffic to their site. I have seen this and tested it.

People says pligg is not with seo stuff, I say they are wrong,
Pligg sites dont want the content, They actually want the User,
Sites like digg, sphinn, designfloat are working for users not for money,
IF you treat pligg as the content generator or cash generator, because google will treat your site as spam content or something like it.

I have almost 250 + Social Bookmarking list and I am amazed to read that somebody here has more than 500 + list of social bookmarking websites. I got to ask that these all provides dofollow links or not? Can I get the that list ?

I would like to add squidoo.com for the reason that it gives us dofollow link and you can even post a article for better traffic.
