Getting My Blog Cached

I created a Blog using Blogger which actually publishes the pages to my site. I thought this would be a great way to add pages with dynamic content.....but I am having trouble getting the pages cached.

I think it might be the way Blogger names the pages. Instead of creating pages like www.domainname.com/Blog/Page.html it creates the pages using this naming strategy - www.domainname.com/Blog/Page1/ and if I look at the actual file it is not an HTML file.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I just want the pages to get cached!!!

odds are you just need to point links at your blog.

I have tons of BL's pointing towards it ( i would say about 80 right now)... I was wondering if it had anything to do with the fact that the pages do not have .htm or.html at the end

No, not at all. I have several pages cached similar to the following URL:
http://www.most-relevant-links.com/dir/Advertising
No file name or trailing slash.

How old are your IBL's? My guess is they are still in the sandbox.

the extension path really does not matter much.

even if links are still in the sandbox thingie search engines will still follow them and cache your other pages.

I started a blog powered by blogger and had all of its pages cached within 2 days.

Interesting, thanks for the help. I am showing a ton of BL's from yahoo just not the g-man.

have you done anything that would potentially get your site banned from G?

or just the blog is not showing up?

are those 80 links comming from different and active sites?

u should put your blog in your sig from here and it would get indexed quickly

Blogs get indexed very easy as far as I know, I'm using a blogger blog on a seperate domain also and it's spidered and indexed just as good as the rest of the site and also has the pr#.
