LOL - Old SEO - things change - the boards and noobs just keep repeating old stuff - it's not a matter of how many of the keyword phrases you have on a page - it's where you put it and how it relates to the other words on the page.

Google uses a map formula (gives the closest city to) http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...et&btnG=Search

And it also uses a thesaurus formula - closest term to.

How many times do you see "new rider" on the pages in links 1 & 2? (other than the title - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...earch&aq=f&oq=

How many times do you see "putnam county" on the first link? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...earch&aq=f&oq=

Find the word "Idaho" on the page (first link in google) -

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...ho&btnG=Search

it's a piece of cake you don't have to plaster keywords - just relate them to the page and put it in the right spot.

Improving the keyword density on your website is one of the fastest and simplest ways to increase your site's visibility in the (SERPS) search engine results pages.
keyword density ratio you must take the number of times a keyword appears in the content of your web site, divide it by the total number of words and that's your keyword density ratio.

LIKE:
The keyword "Web Design appears 47 times in text on your web page and if you have 315 words on your web page, your keyword density ratio would then be 15%.

it's called Key Words Density of your particular page.
