Google search system ?

Hi accoring to the googlr adsense TOS, we cannot put the ads in the registration page and a few other pages. I am using phpbb, because of this restriction i couldn't put the ads in the overall header and overall footer files, but i wanted to know does the same restriction apply for the google search program as well ? or can we put the serach box on any page.

I'm pretty sure the same thing applies to the google search as well... I just put mine in the viewtopic_body.tpl and it works great...

i believe it could be different for the serach because, it should not effect google, in whatever page it is, because what matters is the keyword a user types while searching, and they give the ad on the basis of that..i could well be wrong though...woudl like to know more.

I still don't see in the TOS for adsense says that the ads can't be in the overall_header file. The only thing I see is that it can't be on a registration page.

It doesn't say that specifically, but use some common sense... if it's in the oerall_header.tpl file, it's going to be on the regestration page as well...
