Why does Google love these web sites? Shady content?

Wow, Google algorythm seems to love this concept. These sites
are Ranking very well for the last 8 months.

A web site built with a Cold Fusion data base that will display
different page content everytime the page is loaded or refreshed (F5).

To see an example, check t1links dot com. Notice that the footer is linked to another 10 sites built the same way.

Why does Google not penalize this? Why isn't everybody doing this?

Comments are appreciated.

What is there to penalise? Randomising content for users is a perfectly legitimate use of design elements.

However, personally I put more faith in offsite linking rather than on-page elements, particularly for Google.

I appreciate your reply. I would argue that the Randomising content is for the SE spiders, not visitors. It looks like this is perfectly acceptable
SEO.

I wonder if Randomising content can be done via JavaScript
in the page or externally?

Anyone know about that? Any examples?

Phil

I use randomisation of content entirely for human users:

http://www.comparative-religion.com

Refresh the page, and right hand boxes change. It's simply to draw user attention to different facets of the site.

As for this example in particular - of course, there is a good argument to make that it's made for spiders.

However, I persoally would not expect randomised content to have a significant impact on any kind of competitive search terms. I also have serious reservations about using randomised links with a Google sandbox around.

Hi all.
I think the benefit of the randomized content is so that you can see the effects of your SEO faster. By presenting new content every time the spider visits it will see fresh content and spider deeper or update its index cache more often at least for your main page. By guaranteeing that the spider will come frequently, you make your optimization efforts more efficient. Less time is spent waiting for the outcome. You'll eventually rank better than your competitors because you can react faster by keeping the spiders interested in your site.

What do you think?

I think most of SEO is links.

randomizing can help you get indexed quicker, but if you regularly update content you will be spidered frequently anyway
