No page rank

My site www.mycarjams.com was launched the beginning of June, and still has no page rank. My developers thought they found the problem why the site was not being spidered and said that they fixed the problem, it has been 2 weeks since they did this and still no page rank. Is this normal? How often will google spider my site? Thank you in advance for any help in this matter.

I would suggest on working hard to get lots on inbound links to your site from sites with a similar theme/content as yours. That will help your site get indexed and will result in PR soon.

Also, not relating to PR but just a suggestion - You need to shorten your tilte a tad - its too long in my opinon.

<title>Car Audio and Video 50% off MSRP; Amps, Capacitors, CD Changers, Crossovers, Equalizers, Marine, Mobile Video, Speakers, Subwoofers, Tweeters, Accessories</title>

you want to aim for your top 3 keywords or keyphrases that theme your site and place in your title!

It wouldnt hurt to reorganise your keywords in your home page, maybe use your sites top 10 keywords that your aiming for and go with them for now in your home page keywords tag.. Your only diluteing your keyword/keyphrase relervency by adding to many keywords/keyphrases in your home page keyword tag. Think "Topics" & "Themes"

Also, try to use more keyphrases, so instead of "accessories" use "car stereo accessory" and instead of "amp" use "car audio amps" or instead of " car stereo" maybe use "car stereo system" or " discount car stereo" you have alot of one word keywords in your keyword tag - try adding keyphrases.

think about what your "site visitors" would type in.

Here is a good artical to read http://www.searchengineworld.com/eng...e_pyramids.htm

read as much info on keywords as you can:
http://www.v7n.com/keyword-research.php

& you can research what keywords people are searching for here:

www.wordtracker.com

Thanks again, when you say trim down the title, should I just put: car audio, car stereos, subwoofers, or should I put it in a phrase like Mycarjams.com has great prices on car audio, car stereos, and subwoofers.

I wouldnt add yur company name in your title unless your well known.

Secondly its up to you what keywords you want to use in your title tag but I would suggest using your top 3 keywords that concisly cover your sites main topic (theme) in your title.

note that google indexes pages so you should optimise each page's keywords for each pages topic.

Best thing to do is keep a record of your keywords on paper and track your STATS and see how they perform, you can always add the odd keyword and keyphrase again.

remember think about what those searching for your products would type in to find you!...

Someone more knowledgeable than myself can comment, but I'm not sure if you've waited long enough.

Many blogs I follow whose PR always propagates well to individual posts do not have PR for posts after about June 6th. I haven't looked at any of your links, but if you deserve the PR, you may still have to wait another week or two.

the pagerank counts at the normal time still (at least the visual pagerank updates at the same time)

the power of the links may not fully kick in right away though

Jim is on the right pathJim is on the right path
You both will get your PRs in the next PR update I assume. Your BLs show up in Google. Not too much BLs there but they'll still get you some PR.
Just build as many BLs as possible and wait for the next PR update.
