I am adamant on power of IBLs, and IBL from a high PR page will benefit really more. But if you have a PR of 9,10.. you will find it really easy to target your kywds. frankly speaking don`t have much experinece on PR9 or PR10, never got a chance to work on so high PR sites.. :wink: (Also Please note wired.com showing PR0, has a base site PR9, similar is case with Amazon)
But for a comepetive keyword like "website analysis" a high PR is a must, because these web site analysis sites always have an advantage of huge IBLs from sites which uses their remote tracking services. (embedded in javascript code). Shrewd guys...
You cannot figure out an exact formula, but still try to get links from high PR and theme sites. Getting links from high PR site will increase your PR automatically.
So getting high PR for your site is just a bonus...
And high PR will have other advantages too, like rankings in SERPs will go up if your kywds are present in your internal link texts, Title, etc.
