Managing your PPC campaign

Why loose money on expensive key-words? Why does nobody bid on common misspelings and similar key-words?
You can also save money by being more specific and biding on highly-targeted words instead of paying a fortune on general key-words. In this way you will attract more qualified buyers to your site and offer them exactly what they're searching for.

Overture and Google dont allow you to bid on misspellings as much as they used to as they have spell checkers in place and therefore forward you to the right content.

I know from experience than the Overture Content Mods will not allow those type of keywords / phrases and reject them without considering them.

I bid on not so popular keywords that are cheap, but they don't drive as much traffic as the more expensive, high-search count search terms.

Its best to optimize SEO wise for the major keywords and pay for the smaller ones. Really it saves you a hell of a lot of money although of course you dont get as many visitors. You may have to bid of 50 lesser keywords to get the same traffic as 1 major keyword. Its worth it in the end though.

If you bid on highly targetted keywords you attract MORE QUALIFIED buyers (not more "tire kickers" who drive your costs up). In this way you see more sales conversions.

Jenny - this is exactly what I do

I bid/optimise for any relevant keywords likely to convert. Often the cheapest most targeted phrases have the best conversion
